Working with me is any easy five-step process. 

1. Understanding what matters most to you and where you want to make an impact, together we come up with a guiding vision and mission and goals.
2.  Guided by your current personal and financial goals and plans (and any current professional advisors), we determine the right vehicles, budget, and timing for your philanthropy.
3. I will then find and carefully vet organizations that can do what you want done in the world. I’ll share my process and my 30+ years in the philanthropic sector and my decade as a grantmaker.
4. Make a plan and execute gifts according to your wishes.
5. Evaluate impact over time.

From this simple process, you gain guiding principles that can last for years and become a meaningful legacy.

I help interpret the nonprofit world for you — its language, cultural norms, and the myths that hold it back from achieving all it can. 

What does this cost?

Projects vary greatly.   I will always give you an estimate when we have spoken, and I never charge just to talk.

This is a bespoke service.  Do you have a clear idea of what matters most to you? How many organizations might you want vetted? Are other people involved so you may need mediation and facilitation? I bill on a project or retainer basis. 

The ultimate value of any engagement is for a client to have the deep satisfaction of knowing that you and your philanthropy matter.
